A Little Bit About Me

Julie is a debut author, entrepreneur, and proud Army brat whose lifelong exposure to military life shaped her deep respect for service, sacrifice, and the untold stories left behind by war. Growing up surrounded by conversations about bravery, loss, and resilience sparked her enduring love of history and storytelling.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia and has spent her professional career as an entrepreneur, building and leading with the same determination and curiosity that now drive her writing.

Julie has been married to her husband for 30 years, who works for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Their life together has been one of constant movement, with them relocating every few years and currently living in Thailand. While each move required reinvention, it also offered a gift: glimpses into places, cultures, and people from around the world. She raised their three children to be resilient, curious, and respectful of diverse cultures, lessons that deeply inform her writing.
